Summary

Today we look at one of the most important parts of selling the house, escrow. We broke it up into two major parts, opening and closing escrow.

We started by splitting opening escrow further down into two parts. The first part of opening escrow is to prepare all the things you will need. This includes your duties as an agent, the escrow timeline and the document checklists you will need.

Then we went over the actual steps of opening escrow. These are working with escrow officer, the earnest money deposit, disclosure documents signed, the statement of information, and the preliminary title report.

The second major part of escrow we went over was the closing steps. We went over final releases, the final inspection, getting the deed notarized and the very important client follow up.
