Termite Clearance

Typically, the seller will need to get the termite (pest control) work completed and verify the clearance was issued.

If the buyer or the buyer’s lender does not require a pest control clearance, or if the buyer is purchasing with cash, the seller will not need a termite clearance.

In most cases, you will help the seller schedule and coordinate the termite repairs and extermination.

At times, the entire house will need to be tented and sprayed with toxic chemicals. So the seller will have to move out for several days and prepare the house for the extermination.

You will need to coordinate this along with the inspections, viewings, and appraisal at the house.
