Storing Offers

As soon as you receive the offers, file them immediately in the correct online folder. Under the file folder in your secure online storage, create a folder called “TRANSACTIONS” and under that, a folder for each transaction.

For example, if the property address is 123 Main Street, name the folder “123 Main”. Under that folder, create a sub­folder titled “Offers” and under that, a separate folder for each buyer who submits an offer. Use the buyers’ last names for their folder name. For example, “Smith”, “Jones”, “Perez”.

This allows you to put the multiple documents for each buyer into their own folder. Make sure the folders are password protected and your data is secure. Make sure that all the offers get filed into the correct folder right away.
